Pam, Sharon and I have been selling and collecting strikes since 1996. She keeps what she likes and then sells her extras on Ebay for fun. The reason I put the question on Ebay because coin dealers get silver strikes in coin collections and if you do not offer them the silver value many will just send them off to the smelters with other silver. With the silver value in strikes at about 9.60 now how many coin dealers will be melting them if they can't sell them in their stores. Many are so busy with gold and silver they just don't want to fool around with the strikes. So my question would be if you were offered 400 silver strikes and they wanted 9.60 each would you buy them sight unseen otherwise they would be melted. ???????? Ted Pamperin SS171
