I played at the Palms and wons several strikes and a few of each blue cap over the three days of the convention. I was also able to win enough for the new $200 with the Vegas sign. I went around 9AM each morning and no one was at any of the three machines on two occasions. Maybe I was lucky because I am not a late night person. When I went by later in the day or at night most of the time the machines were being played. A member of the Palms staff stopped by to show me what the next set of stikes looked like. They were for branches of the service and looked GREAT. When they loaded the strikes there were 20 blue caps per fill that I saw. The Palms has been a great supporter of our hobby and I feel as a visitor from Florida that I have been able to play and win at the Palms fairly. I am a new striker as of last October but have been pleased with the interest of the Palms casino in our hobby. They seem interested in coming up with new ideas(the 3 cars etc.) and not just leaving the same old stikes in the machines. They seem to make enough of each so that if we are around we can win some. I have had to purchase some because I only get to Vegas two or three times per year. I appreciate what Gene Trimble and staff have done for us. I wish all the casinos did as much. Just my thoughts.
