My experience has been the going rate on collections for sale are at face value or LESS. Bad time to sell a collection, too many people have dumped their strikes, values have plummeted. Rare strikes for the most part are worth 1/3 to 1/2 of what they were worth just a year ago. This is strictly my experience, not saying that's what's going on overall but since the end of 2008 there's been a firesale on collections.
