Every member gets the club magazine. Every club magazine had the forms for preregistration for the convention, the banquet, the poker tournament, the blackjack tournament, and the nominating forms for the hall of fame. In other words everyone had a chance to participate. Both you and your spouce had the same chance that the 175 members that are judges did. It was well published on this and the chipboard BBs. that the ballots were there. All it took was a little personal initiative to fill out the nominating papers and put them in an envelope with a 37cent stamp and drop it off at the post office.
