Hello everyone. The May newsletter has been mailed to current members of the Silver Strikers Chapter. If you haven't received your copy yet it should be arriving shortly. Included in the newsletter is an official ballot that must be filled out and returned to Jo Riefer by May 30, 2003 to be valid.

There are two issues on the ballot that require your attention.

The 1st one is asking you to vote for the person you believe is best qualified for the Office of 2nd Vice President of the Silver Strikers Chapter. Doug Conley and I are the two candidates for this position and our qualifications for this office are pretty close to being the same. I ask that you take the time to read the information that's printed in the newsletter about the two of us and then make your choice by circling one of our names. And please remember, whether you vote for Doug or you vote for me for the position of 2nd Vice President, the Chapter will still be benefiting from what we can contribute to it, not only as an officer but as a member as well.

The 2nd issue is regarding the silver strike Hall of Fame nominations. Nine silver strikes are listed and you are being asked to vote for three ONLY. The winning silver strikes will be announced at the convention next month.
