it was some sort of a hand out for maybe table or slot play. Or maybe it was on a tournament of some sort and was a part of the payment maybe for signing up. Or maybe a gift shop item. I am a bit surprised no one these many years later have never heard or seen one. To me it is like the Linda Seldel's token. Mine has the same casino design on the one side. Neither token/strike seem to have a mint mark or .999 silver on them. I would expect some sort of a by metal and no silver at all. At most silver plated but then I would almost expect it to say HSP. It does not as you can see in the scans I posted. Way to costly to produce a fake so I don't go there.
