It has been and continues to be an interesting study of supply and demand with the $7 McCarran strikes. As most of you are aware a large lot of about 30 of these strikes were purchased in a side deal from ebay over a month ago. This particular strike was seen rarely for sale. Only a few per year hit the market. Because of this lack of supply it always commanded a price in the $200 range. We are now seeing two to four per month offered for sale. The expected price has dropped nearly in half. There are currently two for sale. One on Ebay and one on Jackpot. This is an excellent chance for the average collector to obtain one at a bargain price. The longer you wait the lower the price should drop. Can we expect a $50 - $7 McCarran? Perhaps so. Perhaps even less.
