Peter; Your friend does not have to join to gain admission to the bourse floor, but he/she must be a club member to attend the various functions. There is an admission charge for club members and a different admission charge for non-club members.

My advice (or suggestion) is to have your friend join the club and PRE-REGISTER as there are benefits (valuable coupons) in the pre-registration package that will exceed the cost of the daily admission charge. Only those club members who pre-register will receive the pre-registration package ... plus you won't have to wait in the regular line each day to pay admission. By being a club member, your friend will also receive the magazine each quarter. It's really a win-win proposition. You can even sign up for club membership and pay dues on-line now.
