Guilty conscience?

It wasn't that long ago that I had posted an item about a friend of mine who was cut-throated by a reader of this BB. This reader had gotten a seller on eBay to stop his auction early even though a bid had already been placed.
There wasn't much discussion about this incident on the board and, by coincidence, there has subsequently been a rash of these incidents on a bunch of high price items.
Is it that others figured they may as well do the same thing...a possibility seeing that no one objected? Or is it being done by the same person...a possibility seeing that no one objected.
All I know is that the perpetrator sure has been "touchy" lately...GUILTY conscience?
Or is it because TOM keeps on discovering cheap items and the price goes up before the perpetrator can get the seller to accept a low-ball bid under the table?
Now I'm not naming names here but let's see who complains the most about this post.
Anybody care to guess who they think it is?
