I met with Rick Ronca, now of the El Cortez before I left for home. All is now in place for a Chapter and a strike for the convention. Thanks to Jack Haddock and President Nate Pincus for faxing authorization letters right away. The artwork has been aproved by the casino, so it is just a question of Gaming approval and getting the dies made in time. Also on the agenda is a new set of strikes for the El Cortez, also hopefully to debut convention week. This is not my idea or handiwork so don't give me the credit.
Looks like a great set of convention strikes, with Plaza issuing a strike, Las Vegas Club issuing a Chapter strike and El Cortez and Palms issuing both.
