Tell me how does someone who claims to have 15,000 strikes (8,500 back when he left the hobby) sell all his strikes with one auction for 50 of them?

I'm no math wizard but his last claim of owning 15,000 strikes, makes him wealthy enough to buy and sell me, my business, all my cars, computers and casino collection and have lots of spare change left over.
